Stu My name is Stuart Leighton. I am currently living in Beijing, China and have so for the past 5 years. I currently teach English and study web design. My aim to to continue to reduce my teaching hours as I get more web design jobs, although this could be seriously detrimental to my mental health!

This website has many purposes. It is not only a means of promoting the skills that I possess but is also a method of documenting my way of life in Beijing so that family and friends around the world can see how we are getting on.

Since August 2005, I have been studying web design. Most of my time has been spent learning X/HTML and CSS. Recently I have had an urge to design more dynamic websites and have started studying PHP. I also make use of Macromedia Fireworks 8 for image creation and manipulation.
